People often say, “Love is love.”

And maybe that’s true. Feelings themselves are never wrong. You cannot control who makes you feel understood, safe, inspired, or seen.

But love is not built only on feelings.

When there’s a huge age gap, reality enters quietly ..

different stages of life, different priorities, different families, different futures. One person may still be discovering themselves while the other is already settled into who they are. Sometimes even small things become complicated introducing each other to friends, being accepted by family, wanting different lifestyles, or imagining completely different futures.

And yet, I don’t think age alone decides whether love is right or wrong.

What matters more is maturity, respect, emotional safety, honesty, and whether both people truly understand the weight of such a relationship. If both are healthy in their thinking, emotionally mature, and willing to face the complications together, then maybe it isn’t something to judge so quickly.

Not every unusual love story is toxic.

But not every deep feeling is enough either.

We think leaving home will make us independent.

And in many ways, it does.

But independence isn’t just freedom it’s responsibility.

It’s paying rent on time.

It’s adjusting to mess food that feels fine at first, then slowly becomes unbearable.

It’s saying no to plans because of a tight budget.

It’s thinking twice before asking for money.

It’s thinking twice before asking for money.

Calling home, which should feel like comfort, doesn’t always stay that way.

Sometimes,

it slowly turns into a conversation about expenses, responsibilities, and everything that has been done for you.

Love begins to feel like something that’s counted.

You think twice before asking for money.

You cancel plans.

You compromise on experiences.

You try to be “understanding.”

And yet, it often feels unseen. Unrecognized.

We meet so many people in life, but only few really stay in our hearts.

Some leave without a reason,

Some stay but feel distant,

& Some we have to let go,

even when every part of us wants to hold on.

We say we’re fine,

pretend to be happy.

We smile, we laugh,

but deep down,

we know we still look for them. we don’t want them back

But, we still think

Will we ever get back to those

heart to heart conversationsagain.

You miss how when you meet them you used to tell them everything.

but, now when they’re no longer with you, you still want to tell them everything.

you still want to show them the side you hide.

but maybe that’s how life works I guess.

and Maybe that’s Okay.

Some people teach us love

some teach us letting go

But Still If They’re Around I Ask Myself

“Will We Ever Get Back To Those Real Unfiltered Conversations Again"?
